@vineyardbaker How so? The place is literally crawling with ants. Must be the wrong kind.
@eatthispodcast I have those little reddish ants 🐜 all over mine . I was told the ants must crawl on the plant for them to flower.
Was putting mulch round mine yesterday - she sulked the year I moved her and didn’t flower but she’s forgiven me now and flowers gloriously. But I’ve lost yet another eremurus this winter 😔
@vineyardbaker Right. I wonder whether that could be true. Or just a cunning plot by the ants to get you to leave them alone.
@nicolakidsbooks Everything is in pots, so it could just be an ongoing sulk worthy of the worst teenager.
@eatthispodcast i think you are on to something , unfortunately I have no way to test the theory, my yard is literally a ant farm . Perhaps through patio though potting
