This is exciting @eatthispodcast !
@grayareas I hope so. Always a bit scary putting yourself out there.
Bravo ๐
@jeremycherfas Very cool! I wish I was close enough to participate. Wishing you a well-attended success.
@schuth Thanks. It seems far off now, but I am sure the date will zoom up quickly b
Do you ever put honey in your starter?
@candicesmithcorby Never in the starter, no. Very occasionally in bread dough.
@eatthispodcast I read it in a cookbook yesterday and wondered bc I had never read or heard that before.
@candicesmithcorby Seems to me like a very odd idea. Which book?
@eatthispodcast so, haha itโs in better homes and gardens New cookbook (1996) - an old gift from someone...
I happened across it looking up a recipe for waffles...
@candicesmithcorby Sourdough waffles are a thing, although I've never made them. I do make sourdough pancakes when I have excess leaven.
@eatthispodcast waffles were just regular. But I have made sourdough brownies!
