Bah! Rubbish performance today.

I dunno, maybe an underground garden (blog) isn’t such a bad idea. Maybe, in the scorching heat of social media we need a cooler, darker space for connections and discussion. Where things grow more slowly but still bear fruit 25 years later.

@neilbuttery Agreed, blackcurrant leaf tea is delicious. Right now we also have an abundance of mint that will all die back in a couple of weeks. What other leaves are good to steep fresh?

OK, this is weird, but I find it hard to believe that yesterday's word and today's came up purely randomly.
@cll2606 This is annoying. It seems that my install of WithKnown is not playing nicely to POSSE Twitter replies. It might be something to do with Quilll, but I doubt it. More likely to be accumulating cruft in WithKnown. I want to keep using it, but ...
I try to make my site look good on mobile, but that isn’t my primary concern. Not too difficult with so many good responsive basic packages available.

It truly is like magic being able to use my desktop computer from far away, and will be even better when I can work out how to summon Alfred. I use option-space on the Mac and cannot for the life of me work out how to send that from my iPad. Do you know?

My linguistic prejudices and blinkered attitude let me down.
@RJABuggs @FoodiePharma I'm hearing that the main cold store is safe and has mostly been safety. So while there is clearly a present threat, it just isn't true that any “terrible loss to plant genetic resources” has occurred. @LiseLykkeS may know more.

Continuing my little excursions and using the IndieWebRing as my guide, I chanced up Chris DeLuca's CSS to Style a Novel https://www.chrisdeluca.me/article/base-css-to-style-a-novel/. I particularly liked the explanations for each of his chosen rules.
Very puzzled. My helper suggested only one possibility, and that wasn't it. Solved it without help, but ... whaddayaknow? The actual target word is not in the list. Salutary.
